Crying over spilt milk

“Crying over spilt milk” I heard this when I was a little kid, but never seen anyone crying over spilt milk. Now I think that I have a chance to see govt. cry.
You will think about why? , Because, this govt. has a strong heart and have never cried.  Yes, it is difficult (almost impossible) but if not this govt. the coming one will definitely cry.
In my last article “Census …A Herculean Task” I wrote that due to the short time the enumerators are trying to collect the data roughly. They don’t have any time to take a breath, therefore, they are doing it as quickly as possible so the govt. should extend the date. The government took its time as usual and decided to extend the date on the last minute. When they have made a mess of the whole process.
In my opinion, the process was clean and smooth for first few days but as the time was running out the enumerators worked fast and roughly and on the last day I think that they even didn’t waste their time to knock at the doors. They gathered data by the passersby and other spectators, even by their sixth sense.
The enumerator took it easy in the beginning because they thought that the ex-members of local government will co-operate with them. It is the history of our culture that the Malik’s and Khan’s of the area help government official’s in their work but due to some reason’s now they are not helping any government official. I don’t know if this is silent civil disobedience or something like this.
Due to unhelpful behaviour of the local politician’s the enumerator’s wasted a lot of their time locating their real area, because the directions and map were not all that correct. I want to see the govt. crying over their decision once again.
One another point told by a politician who was not interested in this survey was that it is useless to count people because Punjab has more population than any other province, therefore, its population will increase more than any other province and also they don’t tell their own as well as the population of other provinces correctly.
