Is education main target……?

I think education is main target and every one is trying to make unrest in this sector, whether in government or in private sector. I don’t know if these are true or not but we hear these in news. I have collected some of them from here and there for general interest.
Rawalpindi, Dec 15: Justice Mamoon Rashid Sheikh of the Lahore High Court (LHC), Rawalpindi Bench, on Tuesday while suspending a Punjab government notification allowed the 9th class science students of private schools to appear in the board examination as private candidates.
The All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association (APPSMA), through its divisional president Abrar Ahmad Khan, while nominating the Punjab Education Department and the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE), had challenged the notification disallowing the science students of 9th class from taking board examination.
The court, while suspending the order, issued notices to the education department and the RBISE asking them to submit their replies. The news
The students of private schools are giving exams in the science subjects since unknown time. No one has never ever objected on this matter. If the government thinks that there are some schools which have no proper science laboratories then it should take action against them. In my opinion this is not the solution to stop all the private schools from admitting science student.
Peshawar, Dec 15: Rejecting the amendments to the University of Peshawar (UoP) Act 1974, the Federation of All Pakistan Academic Staff Association (FAPUASA) on Tuesday threatened countrywide protest if the changes in the law were not withdrawn.
“The protest drive has already been launched. The teachers will set up a protest camp at the University of Peshawar from Wednesday (today),” said Prof Dr Mehar Saeed while addressing a press conference at the Peshawar Press Club.
The FAPUASA head was of the opinion that the government wanted to implement the Model University Act, which was introduced during Musharraf era. “The teachers will not allow the government to accomplish its designs,” he said.
The amendments, he said, had caused unrest among the staff and they would not remain silent on the issue. He said the FAPUASA had been opposing the controversial act backed by chancellor of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa universities from the very beginning. “Neither the senior academicians nor the faculty members were taken on board while making amendments to the law,” he said.
Flanked by presidents of different units of FAPUASA from across the country, Dr Mehar Saeed asked the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor to devise a strategy in the interest of the universities. He said the governor should take stand on the issue and should resign in protest if his words are not honoured.
He said the amendments in the University of Peshawar Act 1974 were made in such a hurry that the relevant people, elected body and senior academicians were also not taken into confidence. “This is a dictatorial step, which will affect the university’s structure as elected representatives of teaching community in the two superior bodies of the varsity – senate and syndicate – has been abolished,” he opined. The Universities Act 1974 was implemented in 72 varsities of the country
If this suggestion was on the table in Musharaf era then I think all of the Musharaf suggestions have been implemented so far. If any of his suggestion has been rejected it must be ordered by court.
This was a short story you can collect many more incidences from media now a days.
