How Can We Unite?
One after another by-election is held but the results are the same. The parties in power are rejected. The election in DG Khan is won by Sardar Owais Ahmad Leghari of PML (Q).why?
He belongs to Musharaf, he got some 62 thousand votes more than that of PPP and PML (N) combine vote. Why?
PPP and PML (N) both are political parties but PML (Q) is associated with a dictator and its candidate has won the election quite easily. Why?
The answer is that because of the failures of their government (PPP and PML (N)). This is the revolution through the vote.
One of the biggest failures is that the government is not capable to stop corruption from top to bottom. From ministers to class four (peon) everyone is trying to take as much as possible. It seems that they think the time is short and it is the last chance. Due to this corruption process of development has stopped. And all the new projects are taken up only for the sake of a commission.
Lack of public confidence in their leaders is a huge failure. People don’t pay their tax completely because they think that their money will be wasted. They try to give funds to NGO’s and to general people but not to the government.
Previous governments used to arrange open hatcheries (ﻜﭽﮭﺮﯼ) for public contact but this government has no contact with public whatsoever.
Lawlessness is also a big failure in this government. The government is also not abiding by the law itself. Especially implementation of Supreme Court orders regarding government office bearers.
The rise in the price of everything is also a failure of government. Price of everyday usage bits and pieces are now out of reach for most Pakistani. Predominantly in the rise of petroleum prices every month, this effect everything. Latest news is that the fares of PIA for OMERA (ﻋﻤﺮﻩ) pilgrims will be raised fortnightly.
This seems to be the change we want to see after the change in other Muslim countries.
But the question is what are we choosing the correct party for a change?
Do we need to change?
Which party is appropriate for the change?
How can we unite our self to change?
